Job Description
Position Overview
We are currently looking to recruit an Event Associate as part of our Commercial team in Shanghai. We organize interviews and roundtables,where industry thought leaders discuss emerging topics of interest to investors.
In this role you will:
●Track sectors in Greater China region, reading news/financial reports etc. to find out the hot topics in capital markets and its potential growth logic;
●Identify the most relevant individuals (C-level executives and practitioners working at the heart of their industries) to take part in interviews and roundtables;
●Build relationship of trust and encourage these individuals to participate in discussions with our clients, while ensuring that their insights are relevant and controlling the consulting budget;
●Working closely with internal team including Commercial/Delivery/Legal & Compliance/Forum team to organize/promote seminar smoothly;
●Work to tight deadlines and keep updated to line Manager of the progress of each Seminar project;

A successful candidate will have:
●A real interest in financial markets;
●The ability to confidently interact with C-level executives and industry
experts;
●Demonstrable skill in carrying out research with a logical and focused
approach;

●Self-motivated, energetic; a resourceful nature, with a diligent and
proactive approach to the work;
●Strong project management skills and result driven;
●Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills;
Qualifications:
●Fluent in spoken and written English;
●Bachelor’s degree or above, Major in Economics, Marketing or related
discipline is preferred
●Roadshows, events management experience preferred
