I don't think I realised when I joined the opportunities that I would have been given and I couldn't comprehend the way in which the business would shock me with the trust they've shown in me.

One piece of advice I'd give to someone starting a career at Third Bridge is to be really open and be able to give and receive feedback. Being an open person open to change is important.

The first step towards your future

Our early careers application process has five stages. Our goal is to make sure that we fully understand who you are and why a career at Third Bridge is the right fit. We want to empower you to be the architect of your future. The stages are:

Application
At the application stage, you’ll find a set of questions designed to assess the core skills needed to be successful in the role. We look for specific examples to demonstrate the answer to each question while also assessing how you write, too.
Initial Interviews
You’ll speak to a member of the hiring team as well as members of the team you’ve applied to so that we can dig into the skills and competencies needed to be successful in the role. We’ll also talk through your motivations for applying.
Face-to-face Interview
If we feel you could be the right fit for the role, we’ll invite you in for a face-to-face interview which will consist of a practical exercise to simulate the work environment, day-to-day work and give you more insight into the role.
Final Interview
This is your last chance to check that the role is right for you and ask any outstanding questions.
Offer
And finally, once you’ve accepted your offer, we’ll join you up with new starters in similar roles so that you can build bonds with colleagues from day one.

Built to have an impact on the world

An early career at Third Bridge is a great opportunity to have a positive impact on our business, communities and the planet. Our ESG committee is grassroots-driven. So whether you’re passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion, corporate social responsibility and volunteering or the environment, you have the opportunity to create and drive our strategy.

One of my main takeaways from D&I work here at Third Bridge is to foster a workplace where people feel comfortable expressing themselves and sharing their culture without fear of ridicule.

What makes Third Bridge people special?

Since 2007, we’ve been a company built on entrepreneurial spirit (or founder’s mentality, as we call it), relationships (with our clients, specialists and each other) and growth. Our people really embody these, and we think that makes for a pretty special environment! If you’re ambitious and highly organised, love working to targets and reaping the results, have excellent communication skills and an interest in financial markets – Third Bridge is the place for you!

We’re also always looking for language speakers in our London, Shanghai and Hong Kong offices. If you speak French, Swedish or German (London), Japanese or Korean (Shanghai), or Bahasa, Vietnamese or Thai (Hong Kong), then Third Bridge would be a great place to capitalise on your skills.

Your hard work. Our great benefits.

At Third Bridge, our people work hard. So in return, we work hard for you. That’s why our rewards and benefits are extensive – because we know that you deserve to be recognised for everything you put into our business. From performance-based bonuses to the opportunity to work from anywhere in the world for one month each year, we try to keep our offering as brilliant and diverse as our people.

We provide refreshments and snacks in our offices, as well as regular socials, volunteering opportunities and celebrations for global religious and cultural events. You’ll also have huge exposure to business leaders. So you can pick their brains, learn more about the work we do and where you can take your career next.

But, at the same time, it’s important to us that you take time for yourself, and help us give back to our communities. That’s why we give 2 CSR (corporate social responsibility) days and 2 personal days for you to use each year.

I am so grateful for the opportunities I’ve had at Third Bridge. From progressing to a management role in just one year, to overseeing various different client types as Vice President, to more recently moving into a new team to focus on our content business, I have never stopped learning.

I think it takes us being in the front seat and the company really investing in talent development to have a fulfilling career with pride and ownership. Joining in 2015, my journey at Third Bridge has been incredibly exciting, having had the opportunity to experience working with different teams across the business. I can't wait to see what's next!

Frequently asked questions

What should I wear to an interview/on my first day?
Our dress code is smart casual. We want everyone to feel comfortable and like themselves at work, but also need to maintain a professional setting for the business. Occasionally, you might need to engage, either onsite or offsite, with clients, candidates, and specialists; in most cases, you’ll need to wear formal business attire to these meetings.
Does Third Bridge offer sponsorship?
While we do have the right licence to do so, we have limited certificates of sponsorships. It would depend on the role and business demand at that time.
What’s the culture like at Third Bridge?
We’re proud of the global, collaborative, flexible and adaptable culture we’ve built along our journey. It’s a culture that’s centred around feedback and open communication. One that encourages fresh perspectives. And where there’s a shared belief that all ideas help fuel our continuous improvement. Behind it all is a leadership team that works hard to encourage excellence – along with a set of culture commitments that drive us all to achieve more and do better, every day.
