At Third Bridge, you won’t just be the architect of your future. You’ll also be the architect of a future where doing the right thing matters. That’s because we’re committed to making sure we have a clear Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) framework in place. It’s what makes our business stronger, and it’s what will continue fuelling our growth.

Environment

Climate change is recognised as a real threat. By reducing our greenhouse gas emissions through a carbon footprint mitigation strategy, we’re playing our part in protecting the environment.

Governance and Ethics

We know that promoting strong and transparent governance is essential for building trust with all of our stakeholders. So, we’re taking the lead by making sure we work to the highest standards of ethics and integrity.

Initiatives we've launched recently

Diversity & Inclusion
Diversity of thought, experience and background makes us a stronger team. Our Diversity & Inclusion Council embodies several employee resource groups including Women at Third Bridge, BlkBridge, LGBTQIA+ and more, which enable us to learn from those around us and celebrate our diversity. Everyone has the opportunity to grow with us, and being a signatory of the Change the Race Ratio demonstrates our commitment to this.
The Environment
Environmental awareness is at the top of our agenda. So, we’re building environmental sustainability and a deep perception of our impact on biodiversity into our core strategy. And we’re also promoting more sustainable lifestyles for our people and their families while working from home, too. For example, we swapped plastic cups for reusable water bottles in 2019, and we’re actively reducing our Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, and our carbon footprint. It’s working too - our Shanghai office, One Museum Place, was one of the first towers in Shanghai to receive the LEED Platinum Certification for Core & Shell. And we’ve since been awarded Silver EcoVadis certification, and become a UN Compact signatory.
Corporate Social Responsibility
Our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and our philanthropic ambitions, has sharpened our focus on our communities through volunteering, donations, and fundraising. For example, we proudly give our people two volunteer days every year to help us bring this commitment to life.
Women in Leadership
We’re proud to have an industry-leading ratio of women to men in management positions in the financial services industry, at 59% women and 41% men. This is significantly above the national average in Europe, India, China and the US. It shows that our pioneering diversity and inclusion strategy is no barrier to ambition or professional success here at Third Bridge.
Women at Third Bridge
In 2021, we created the Women at Third Bridge Group. Since then, this employee-led group has generated a number of fantastic initiatives which support our sustainability framework and commitment to building an inclusive work environment. Steered by people from across the business, it’s committed to fostering inclusivity and to building an inclusive culture where people of all genders can thrive. Our Women at Third Bridge Mentorship Programme also continues to grow. 150 women formed our first cohort in 2022, including members of our leadership team. The programme is designed to nurture our female talent and help them achieve their career goals, through coaching, building networks and learning from one another.
LGBTQIA+
What makes Third Bridge such a special place to work is the diverse team and inclusive culture we’ve grown over the years. In 2022, we set up a dedicated LQBTQIA+ Group, which grabs every opportunity to celebrate our friends, colleagues and family in the LGBTQIA+ community. It also allows all colleagues across the business to learn from their experiences so we can all strive to be better allies, and so we can All Rise Together.
BLK Bridge
BlkBridge was formed in 2021 by black Third Bridge employees. The group began as a grassroots organisation and the Third Bridge Diversity and Inclusion Council has been proud to support and help develop it as our business continues to grow. It’s all about working towards bridging racial divides in both our work and personal lives. And initiatives have included celebrations of Black History Month and MLK Day, recognition of Black Pound Day, in-person events with black celebrities, and much more.
I’ve worked with some of the most inspiring women I've ever met at Third Bridge. I've been constantly impressed by the intelligence, commitment, and work ethic that these women bring to the table. The most important lessons I've learned as a female leader are about resilience and owning my unique voice.
