Job Description
Position Overview
At Third Bridge, our Compliance framework is an integral part of our business; as such we are looking to hire an Associate to join our global Third Bridge Expert Network Compliance team to be based in Shanghai. The main purpose of this role is to support the compliance requirements of the business across all our international offices.
Organised with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to develop strong working relationships across the organisation working with individuals at all levels and across offices.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to identify risks and apply strategies or seek guidance to minimise them.
Ability to prioritise competing goals and interests and manage time effectively.
Responsibilities (in addition to Associate level duties)
All Associate level duties
Serve as compliance point of contact for senior stakeholders throughout business
Serve as client point of contact
Take ownership of compliance policy documents and other resources
Serve as senior compliance resource for all parts of business and clients
Oversee department wide identification of operational improvements and works to implement solutions
Take ownership and lead compliance operational projects, including projects involving automation, auditing, and intranet functions
Depending on business need, responsible for the management and training of team members.

Eligibility
Established as trusted compliance point of contact for business
Confidence in taking primary responsibility for certain client communications
Demonstrated ability to independently identify and resolve compliance issues
At least 12-18 months in previous role (preferably 24 months +) (internal)
Experience: Degree level qualified (preferably a Law degree).
3 years + of relevant experience (Legal & Compliance field) (external)
Experience working autonomously and making decisions.
Experience dealing with stakeholders and/or clients.
