The Role:
As a Software Engineer at Third Bridge, you will play a critical role in our dynamic team, contributing to a wide array of projects that impact our business on a global scale. This role is designed for a proactive and curious individual who is eager to learn from and contribute to our diverse Tech and Product departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of high-availability, enterprise-level applications, ensuring adherence to architectural strategies.

  • Engage in Agile development processes, working collaboratively with team members from various disciplines to deliver innovative solutions.

  • Actively contribute to the design and architecture of software solutions, maintaining a focus on the 'bigger picture' to meet business and client needs.

  • Embrace a DevOps approach, coding and testing solutions that integrate seamlessly into our microservices architecture and contribute to multiple products.

  • Leverage your strong communication skills to effectively network with colleagues across Third Bridge and the wider technical community, including external third parties.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong foundation in Typescript, React.js, and Node.js.

  • Proficiency in cloud deployment technologies, with a preference for AWS. Experience with Azure or GCP is also valuable.

  • A solid understanding of QA practices, including writing unit tests and test automation.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and work effectively in a dynamic environment.

  • A team player with excellent collaboration skills, able to work effectively within a team and contribute positively to team dynamics.

Desired Attributes:

  • Proficiency in JAVA and .Net technologies is highly desirable and will be regarded as a significant asset with a strong grasp on design patterns, and OOP principles enhancing the primary technology stack.

  • A 'tech agnostic' mindset, open to exploring and integrating various technologies to find the best solutions.

  • Natural curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving and technology exploration.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders and team members.

  • A customer-first ethos ensures that the solutions you develop align with the needs of our clients and internal users.
